Itinerary

Day 1 – Monday, the 22nd of June 2009

7.45 am meet in the area in front of the ticket barrier in the Eurostar terminal at London St Pancras International

8.32 am depart London St Pancras International (train no.9010)

Please remember to take your passport and visas with you.

11.47 arrive Paris Gare du Nord

transfer to Hotel (10 minutes by foot, so please pack lightly)

12.30 am meet outside the hotel, departing on Métro line 4, direction Porte d’Orléans, alighting at Châtelet-les-Halles to visit the modern art museum

Centre Georges Pompidou, with its permanent collection and two special exhibitions on the mobiles of Alexander Calder and the paintings of Vassili Kandinsky; please see

16.30 pm meet at Métro station Le Peletier, line 7 (direction La Courneuve)

Depart hotel Métro, line 4, direction Porte d’Orléans, alight stop Vavin and follow directions to rue Vavin, upon exiting station turn right into rue Vavin
